Annelies joined Zetta in 2025 after spending the last few years on the other side of the table as a founder, building a vertical AI company in the supply chain and manufacturing space. For that company, Annelies spent several years living in Mexico where she grew the business to over 80 people, built and managed the engineering and supply teams, launched the US business, and raised over $45M in venture funding. During this time, she also became fluent in Spanish. She knows firsthand what it takes to navigate the highs and lows of building something from scratch.

Before launching her company, she was an early-stage investor, backing more than 30 companies. Annelies’ experience straddling both sides of the table has given her firsthand insight into how great teams scale, how product-market fit emerges, and how the best founders navigate chaos.

Annelies started her career at Dropbox, where she wore many hats across user research, partnerships, sales, customer support, and ultimately helped launch the company’s Product Analytics team. She graduated from Yale where she was a 3-season D1 varsity athlete and President of the Yale Entrepreneurial Society.
